About Me
Cameron Zachary, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with advanced expertise in skin cancer treatment, surgical reconstruction, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery. He provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatologic care, combining technical precision with a personalized, patient-centered approach.
Dr. Zachary completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he served as Education Chief Resident and received the Resident Teaching Award. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery at the University of California, Davis.
His philosophy of patient care is simple: listen with intention and treat all with respect. Dr. Zachary believes exceptional care begins with understanding each patient’s concerns, priorities, and goals. He approaches every visit with empathy, sincerity, and a commitment to providing thoughtful, individualized treatment. Above all, he values building lasting relationships with his patients and helping them feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.
Dr. Zachary’s expertise includes Mohs micrographic surgery and advanced surgical repair for skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma. His additional fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery allows him to offer treatments including Botox and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Sculptra, and ablative and non-ablative laser procedures. He also treats the full spectrum of general dermatologic conditions, allowing him to care for patients through their medical, surgical, and cosmetic needs.
A California native, Dr. Zachary grew up in Mill Valley before moving to Southern California. He attended UC Berkeley, where he competed in Division I rowing as part of a national championship-winning crew program. His experience as a collegiate athlete helped shape his appreciation for hard work, teamwork, and perseverance — values he continues to uphold in his medical practice.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading, working out, hiking, film making, playing board and card games, and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter watching sunsets on the beach in Southern California.
